| Etienne Daho was born on January 14, 1956 in Oran, Algeria. His family went to Rennes, France in the early 60's. Etienne got his Baccalauréat then studied English, but he was more interested in music & in 1979, he met Elli Medeiros & Jacno & started his career. In 1980, he made his first concert at Rennes' Transmusicales. Noticed there, he signed to Virgin & released his first album Mythomane. Sales were disappointing but the press loved the man's talent.
