This song is about death from Amy's view as a child. When she was 6 years old, she was told at school that her sister was dead. It's about how she put on a happy face and pretended everything was going to be okay and that it would all go away, but in the end she was really only hiding the real her... as if she was living a lie. (Listen to the lyrics and you'll understand.)

This is such a great song! And one of the saddest I've ever heard. When I first got the album I thought that the song was about someone in coma, but two months after that or so I heard the story about Amy and her sister. I mean, if you listen to the song and think what it means... It's TOO shocking. |

This is my favorite song off of Fallen. It's just so awesome, yet sad. It's my favorite song to listen to when I'm depressed. I was really mad/sad when this was the only song off of Fallen they didn't play in Paris, therefore not being on the DVD. Oh well though...I got over it. I listen to this song at least twice a day. I always listen to it at night just before I'm about to go to sleep and sometimes I cry to it. It's just so sad. |
