 44 posts | Actually, I agree with Vanillasky. When I read the lyrics, I thought it was about a child/woman being abused by her father/husband/who ever. That interpetation of the song really hit me, I love it. Just now I read that the song is about a stalker of Amy's, well I dunno, I still absolutely love the song, but it changed the way I think of it (well, duhuh). I prefer the way I interpetated it, but eay, I guess Amy's way of meaning is the most important (H). And about Amy being gay/bi, whatever she says or all you peepz will say, I still doubt the fact that she is a 100 % straight. I'm a lesbian myself and sometimes I reconigze recognizethe things the sings. Even though that isn't a great proof, I still think she could be gay  .

 218 posts | This song IS written about Amy's experience with a stalker, whether you choose to see it that way is your decision and yours alone, as all music is intended to be experience by the listener, letting them feel it and create an image within their own mind, letting them believe what they may as everyone 'sees' things differently. It is NOT about Amy being 'gay' or 'bi'. As for 'having an open mind' as stated above, I do, I am an writer of my own style as it is, but I happen to see the intention of this song as it was intended by Amy. The stalker had apparently referred to her as 'Snow White', the 'Queen' being added after how the attention made her feel in a way. I personally like this song. Have any of you ever had a stalker? 1 posts | ok, i must ask about the gay comments. why would it be so horrible if she was gay. you all deny she is gay as if it was an insult. open your minds a little. i think the song could be about either one of the two opinions. but when you close your mind about peoples' lifestyles simply to make them more appealing it becomes a little ignorant. so please keep an open mind and think about all the options before deciding. |

1 posts | I agree with aware, as soon as I heard the song I thought of someone with a spilt personality, with the chorus being when they face their other self. One part being dominate over the other, but the other trying to stand up for themselves.
However this may not be the real point/meaning of the song I like to think it is. |

This song is about her being stalked by a crazed fan. She had to stay in a hotel and was instructed not to leave because this man was a danger to her. She couldn't even go home. In this song, she writes in her point of view (I can't escape the twisted way you think of me//I don't sleep) and the stalker's point of view (You belong to me, my Snow White Queen//So let's get it over). It's like the listener is stepping into the world of the stalker and the stalkee at the same time. It's a little scary. Hope this clears it up, if not, let me know
