|  This song is just another mediocre complaining song that kids listen to when they do things such as pretend to be hardcore or on the totally opposite side, cultured. I recommend you listen to some more creative, deep, original music so that you can at least get a taste of good music before the lot of you hit High School, or at least sophomore year. If you’re looking for something that you can rock out to, try to get into The Misfits or The Clash. If you like the more classical sense to the music, try actual classical music like Chopin or Beethoven. If you’re into the supposed deep lyrics, I personally recommend AFI (although many people don’t like them, they do have smart lyrics and I assure they will expand your vocabulary), Weezer, or if you like more “emo” style I would even stand by Saves the Day and Brand New. Heck, if it’s your type of thing I would even say go for Switchfoot. Really, though, anything but this. |

When I first heard this song on my cousin's computer, it reminded me of the joy and sadness I went thru with a certain friend of mine. Listening to "Forgive me" now, it reminds me that I have unfinished business to straighten out with him even now.
I like the mellowness and simplicity throughout the whole song, Amy's voice brings out that emotion.
And yes, I love Evanescence too.

this songs great it makes me happy.. even though it may come off to being depressing.. she just sings through the heart.. thats what makes her music so special, so aweing.. all the songs are great.. I love Evanescence!

people are entitled to their own opinion on music.. wether you like evanescence or not.. i listen to all types of music, "hard core" "emo" classic, oldies.. but if i were to pick just one band to listen to, i'd choose Evanescence.. music is what you make it to be.. it doesnt matter what they sing about.. as long as it touches you.. as long as it reaches out to you and send you a message and inspires you.. thats all that matters.. to anyone who doesnt like evanescence but has their heart else where.. i dont dislike you.. sorry you may think im crazy.. but oh well.. then again you dont like evanescence.. j/k  |

I love this song... kind of reminds me of the time when i sort of shouted out at my friend that sometimes i wouldnt mind slitting my wrists and ending it all.. i was in the worst mood.. lucky thats all over.. but i really freaked him and my other friend out. kind of like this part:

I know this sounds weird, but I just found this song on my iPod, it was misspelled and I didn't realize I had it. Frankly, it's probably the only Evanescence song that doesn't really amaze me. The lyrics are good...but its really lacking otherwise. I suppose that's why it never made it onto Origin or Fallen. |
