7 posts | Everytime I think I have been able to stop crying since my parents divorce I hear this song and I start up again. I can totally feel this kid's pain. I know what it's like to go to school and never want to go back home and I know what it feels like to laugh with your friends, when on the inside you are crying and screaming and your whole world is falling apart and all you want is your parents together again and it won't happen because they "fell out of love" or they "don't see each other as man and wife anymore". It kills. Divorce hurts a lot, not just the parents, but the kid(s). You can see the pain in your parents eyes. I know what it's like when a parent brings home another person and they tell you "he/she could never replace your real mother/father". I am never going to let my kids feel that pain. Everything will be wonderful. |
