I 1st. heard this song by very early 1999 when it came out as a promo single here in Venezuela over the radio and I've liked it ever since.
I also used to think it was a cover 'cause the melody to the refrain sounds like so.

| Love this song.. it's got awesome lyrics and an awesome storyline! Speaking of that..
britty_555: This song has a true story behind it. It's about an elderly (and sick) couple from Texas who mysteriously disappeared. The bassist from Fastball is from Texas too, so this was his idea.
