Leslie Feist was born on February 13, 1976 in Amherst, Canada. She began her musical career as a rock band's singer in high school. The band got important & performed before The Ramones but Feist lost her voice in 1998.
After hours of recovery, playing guitar, she joined the band By Divine Right & released her first album Monarch in 1999. Feist left By Divine Right for other musical projects & released her second album Let It Die in 2004. Melting jazz, bossa, folk-rock & disco, ballads came out, led by the beautiful woman's voice. Feist came back in 2007 with The Reminder, with 13 happy songs. |
