 Leslie Feist was born on February 13, 1976 in Amherst, Canada. She began her musical career as a rock band's singer in high school. The band got important & performed before The Ramones but Feist lost her voice in 1998. After hours of recovery, playing guitar, she joined the band By Divine Right & released her first album Monarch in 1999.
