I can kind of see how you can say it's sung through the eyes of a non - believer but then wouldn't it speak better to a brand new believer? I think that this song is neat because he's saying "I JUST WANT THE TRUTH, NO ARTIFICAL RELGION, NO MAN AND HIS FLESH BETWEEN GOD AND ME!" And (Personally) that's what I think it's all about. It could go either way.  |

This song is totally fromt he world's perspective. the world "don't wanna look, i just wanna find" and they "dont want your religion, don't need ya lies." "Feel like it's teenage hunting season" gives it away right there, 2. and finally, "i missed the point now it's over." he missed the point...he was looking for something he liked, not truth. he missed the point that it's really about faith...now it's over...he's chosen death over life...now it's over |

I love it because it's about God's truth but it's letting you know that religion isn't importnat!!! I also love how the switch it up in the end. |
