I like this song very much, probably the best song on the acoustic CD along with 'Over And Out'. I like In Your Honor quite a lot but somehow I was kinda disappointed, with all that hype surrounding its release I thought it was gonna blow me away but it didn't. The acoustic side is freaking awsome, especially this song, i was a little worried about the foos getting soft but all it did was show how versitile they are, and that dave can write songs that are great even without having to be plugged in.
And the rock side, OMG! its awsome! i bought a new system for my car, which wasn't very smart cuz now im deaf after every time i listen to it.
Thanks alot Foos, im gunna need a hearing aid by 30.

this, along with everlong, the pretender, best of you, and in your honor, is one of foo's 5 greatest songs. great melody, dave's voice is amazing, great acoustic guitar, overall great song. it's a nice change of pace from their heavy stuff. even being a big metal fan, i absolutely love this song.
i'm not sure why, but this song always makes me sad. i guess it's just the theme of this song. either way, great stuff, mr. grohl. |
