Francis Cabrel will release his new album on March 31, Des Roses Et Des Orties, 4 years after the previous one, Les Beaux Dégâts.

Francis Cabrel will release his new album on March 31. 13 new songs will be on Des Roses Et Des Orties, with love & poetry. The album producer will be Michel Françoise & between guitars, some mandolins & 1 or 2 ukuleles will be used.

Also, to celebrate his 30 years of career, filled with hits, Columbia released last year a follow-up to his compilation 77/87, with 20 years more ! L'Essentiel 1977/2007, a double CD with 35 songs, included the songs from after the first decade already compiled : "Sarbacane", "C'Est Ecrit", "Tout Le Monde Y Pense", "Je T'Aimais Je T'Aime Je T'Aimerai", "La Corrida", "La Cabane Du Pêcheur", "Samedi Soir Sur La Terre" & "Hors Saison".
