5,464 posts	they're a good band for what they are, disappointing live though, they were upstaged at the gig i went to see by their support act, Editors (who totally rock) but their albums are really cool music

264 posts	Franz Ferdinand are an EXCELLENT band. I love both their albums and think they're great live as well, even when you sit in the back row and the sound's not that great and you're with people who don't even know who the band is and you're the only one dancing. I love them.

5,653 posts	Def agree with you there James, they should be around for a long time. They are awesome in concert (only seen them twice though). Both albums were great and Im sure more great ones to come. Best band to come out of Scotland since Wet Wet Wet

741 posts	Oh shush your mouth child! Mogwai are Scottish, they rock even harder. Franz Ferdinand. What can I say. I love them, both albums are great. They are one of the bands that got me to realise that "negro music" is shit. I have to be grateful, I thank them for saving me with all my heart and soul.

2,652 posts	I really like their 1st album, but I didn't warm up to the 2nd one as much. Kapranos has a great voice and i love their lyrics

10 posts	Franz are the best.. they write their own lyrics (which are quite clever), they write their own music (which never gets old becuase they try so many new things) and they play their own instruments.. such a rarity these days... Plus, on top of all this, they seem to be genuinely nice and intelligent people... Ok, sometimes they don't get it completely right (Jeremy Fraser anyone?), but they do a damn good job anyway.. FRANZ RULE!!!
