| and did u know that the beginning was used on a road rules commercial. when i watched the commercial i was like, i need to know what that song is. and then i was listening to their cd and omg i found it. and can u believe mtv used a song by franz ferdinand? they usually use modest mouse of some other bands. franz ferdinand is great |

i think this song is kool.
the film clip is basically the same setout as "take me out".
darts of pleasure was also released here, but didnt get as much coverage as this song and take me out, obviously.
this fire is yet another kooool indie song with a good beat and intelligent lyrics.
the guys in the band always look smart and spruced. see! individuality never heard anyone.

Anyway.
I'll admit that I thought the album version of this song was nothing too special. It sounded kind of weak, if you ask me. That mix didn't seem to do the song much justice. But, their newer version (the one heard on the music video itself) is really great and a lot more louder and fast-paced, so I'm starting to like it all over again.
That video is really quite something, isn't it? I can't really imagine any other band being able to pull it off as well as those guys can! |
