New Album!

We are pleased to announce (at long last) that the new self-titled Gary Jules album will be available online at cdbaby.com around the second week of July 2006.
We have been debating for so long what to do for distribution that it got to be kind of a pain -- so, to make things a little easier for everyone in the short term the album will be available as soon as it gets back from the printers, but ONLY online.
In accordance with this supremely indie move, there will be absolutely NO formal advertising and/or promotion for it's release save the good old tried and true word-of-mouth method. In other words, please tell your friends, families, friendly local independent radio stations -- anyone and everyone that you can.
For those who don't like to buy things online, fear not, the album will eventually be available in a store near you -- and there will be copies for sale at any Summer/ Fall '06 tour stop. We just thought that while we're figuring it out, we'd might as well put it out.
By the way, the Summer/ Fall '06 Tour is tentatively set to begin in San Diego, CA around the 12th of August. GJ will be out with his good friend Jim Bianco doing a series of intimate (read: "small") SOLO performances, and hopefully coming to a city, town, or pig-crossing near you.
