 Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova have won the Oscar for Best Song at this year’s Oscars for their composition “Falling Slowly” which featured in the hit independent Irish film Once.
After a rollercoaster few weeks, with the Academy involved in a lengthy deliberation over the eligibility of the song, vindication comes in the form of an 8 1/2 pound 13 1/2 inch gold-plated statuette that is the most sought after prize in the movie world. |
