 Careful, sensible souls get away ! The duet Gnarls Barkley shocked Americans with their new video "Who's Gonna Save My Soul", with a man taking his heart out in a restaurant...
The duet came back in April with their new album The Odd Couple. This is the second album of rapper Cee-Lo & producer Danger Mouse, between soul, hip-hop & electro. Unfortunately it isn't successful in France, only N°63, whereas the first album St. Elsewhere was N°4, including the hit "Crazy" (N°3 in 2006).
After "Run", the new single "Who's Gonna Save My Soul" is still the same : revival funk/soul. The video for the single shocked Americans, very provoking. We could see a couple in a restaurant. The woman tells her boyfriend she doesn't want to continue, the man takes a knife & stabs himself before... taking his heart out !
