Run and listen to Gnarls Barkley's new single

When Gnarls Barkley released Crazy, it seemed like a song that could get stuck in your head for at least two years. Fans can therefore rest easy: just as the two-year mark is coming up, the group have officially unveiled their new album, as well as its first single. The song's called Run, and you can listen to a free, label-sanctioned stream here.

Singer Cee-lo is once again reunited with DJ Danger Mouse and the group's madcap energy seems fully intact. Over organ swells and backing yells, Cee-lo sings at top speed. "The circus is coming to town!" he advises, like a soul singer sprinting ahead of the big-top.

While the album was initially rumoured to be titled Atlantis, a pun on the group's Atlanta recording sessions, it's now been formally announced as The Odd Couple. At the end of January the group indicated that they were completing some final touches with a live band in Los Angeles. The album cover shows the pair in cartoon silhouette, one short and wide, the other tall and afro'ed. It will be released on April 15. As previously reported, Danger Mouse has lately had his plate full, producing everyone from the Black Keys to Martina Topley-Bird to Sparklehorse.
