| this songs great...when i went to the GC concert back in 03 they played this song and i thought about my sister thru the whole thing cuz shes tried to kill herself before. this song is great becuz not only is it a song that isnt about drugs or sex or w/e, but itz got a lot of heart in it. just noing that GC felt they should take the time to write a song and dedicate it to everyone who feels that way is just...i dont wanna sound overly sappy but itz touching  |

Very good song.
Definitive tune, the underlying lyrics are so meaningful, and inject some positive thinking and attitudes into todays youth, rather than all that anti-social disruptive **** artists such as Marshal Mathers give out. |

| I think that GC just matured in their music and thats why its so diferent from their first album and i think that people juust didnt expect something like it so they didnt like it, its kinda like this one band i know, something corporate, yeah their first album was good, and it is way different from their second album.. i like their second album a lot better though cuz its more meaningful and i think thats what GC did! people just give them a chance, GC has good messages especially in 'hold on' I used to want to committ suicide, and then i went to treatment and all that other good stuff and now i know that if i just try to get thru things and hold on it will be a lot better... it makes me feel like im not alone, and its not worth doing it... anyway, this si a great song!!!!!! |
