another fantastic song by greenday i have now bought all the albums but i was wanting to learn the words to some songs and i was really disapointed that they have removed all of their songs from the website its such a shame but their great anyway  |

Love this song as well, Green Day during the 90's was just fantastic. This song is actually about Billy Joe's relationship with his wife Adrienne Nesser. Before recording Nimrod they were having trouble and this was the song he wrote about it.

He felt like when they said I Love You it didn't hold any meaning anymore, and they just said it out of routine. But hey, they are still together! Which I think is awesome, and hopelessly romantic.  |
