| It's actually about a letter that Billie Joe received from a mother. This 8-year old's grandmother bought him "Dookie" and the kid's mom was so appauled by what she heard, she wrote the guys a letter and sent back the cd. Billie Joe then wrote her a letter in return. Yeah, I read that letter from, her and his reply....his reply was funny, one of the lines in the song is directly from his letter that he wrote back, lol awesome, though I thought the album he got was insomniac? not dookie, ahhhh i'm confused! cos the kid liked the song when I come around, which is basically one of their most pop-kid-friendly song! by the way I love this song, but then again I love all Green Day, cos they rule!!!!!!!!!!!! | | 08-02-2006 17:01 gell_90 |
