| well, I listen to mothing but rock and metal, and to tell you the truth. I wouldnt put green day into the rock class. Its more like mock-punk. | As far as I can tell, this discussion seems to be revolving around whether Green Day are any good.
In my opinion Green Day defines a unique punk rock sound, and whether you like their music or not, you have to admit that they're more than just the average run-of-the-mill band.
They have a huge following and have inspired many.
So give 'em some credit.
