You walked out when I asked you to stay
As usual you'll get your way
You closed the door and stumbled down to the street
Where you wring your hands
And you drag your feet
There where the words can't find you
To crawl inside you
I'm ringing all the warning bells
Careful you don't hurt yourself
Others lie, lie, lie, they adore you
I'll be the one to tell
Careful or you'll hurt yourself
Gonna try, try, try 'til the morning comes
But you can't hide standing under these stars
They know everything they know where you are
You're in your hair you're all turned around with it
And they're shining down their light to bring you back again
Back where I can find you
To crawl inside you
I'm ringing all the warning bells
Careful or you'll hurt yourself
Others lie, lie, lie, they adore you
I'll be the one to tell
Careful or you'll hurt yourself
Gonna try, try, try 'til the morning
All you want to see is make believe, it's nothing
But way down underneath
I'm ringing all the warning bells
Careful you don't hurt yourself
Others lie, lie, lie, they adore you
I'll be the one to tell
Careful, or you'll hurt yourself
Gonna try, try, try 'til the morning comes

vocal This is a really good song, and it was played so much from January-March, I swear I'd hear it every time I turned on the radio. Then it completely just disappeared. I don't know why they stopped playing it. Anyway, it's a great song.

vocal Where the hell has all these Guster fans been?! I mean I only heard of them once when they were covering the Violent Femmes I listened to Amsterdam once, just once and I have no idea how I never came across their music. I mean this is such a GREAT band! my goodness! I will be sure to listen to much more of them damn it.

vocal Guster has definitely been kept under wraps for far too long. I've liked them ever since "The Airport Song" but I really only became a "fan" in '98. Careful was a great track -- hopefully more and more people can start discovering what some of us have known for almost 10 years...Guster rules all.
