| Harold Faltermeyer was born on October 5, 1952 in Munich, Germany. His career began in 1979, playing synthesizer on Donna Summer's Bad Girls album, along with executive producer Giorgio Moroder. Following his work with Laura Branigan on her 1984 album Self Control, he produced soundtracks for the motion pictures Beverly Hills Cop and Top Gun and won Grammy Awards for each of them.
