My dad has a 78 of the Banana Boat song done by a couple of guys. It is incredibly funny (at least it was when I last listened to it at the age of 9). I think Harry did the original version. I wonder who did the comical version. What I remember about it was that one of the characters on the record complained about the other singing too loudly- and at the end of the record there is a smashing sound and the other says "I've come through the window" Have a Fab day! -Murdo |
