Yeah, maybe this song is a good one for the people who have been on the "cheating" side of the relationship but for those of us who were being "cheated" on, it's not so great. This is the song that my husband listened to to bring himself closer to the "other girl" while he wasn't able to talk to her on the phone. This song makes me totally depressed !!! |

Um, its not about cheating its about not being able to move on. If you read properly the lyrics say that he still loves her and its making it hard on him to be faithful to his new girlfriend. Actually all they are doing is talking to each other on the phone. So really its not against the law to talk on the phone.
I love this song because sometimes it is hard to move on if you really love someone or if you have a real relationship. |

| Ok, 1. If you are still in love with someone, don't go getting a new girlfriend. You're just going to break her heart.
2. It's not against the law to talk on the phone, but sneaking phone calls to another woman behind your girls back... that's low. Especially with her 'in the next room'
3. The song may not be about cheating, but for someone being cheated on it's not going to come off as such a great song, for obvious reasons. Wishing your girl was someone else, talking to someone else and dreaming of someone else are not things that you want to hear about if you have just been cheated on, it's common sense.. or so I thought.
Anyway.... I do like the song, it's different than alot of what I've been hearing lately. And ALOT different than Hinder's previous radio hit. Though it's not my favorite by them, Better Than Me takes that place. |

I realize that it's not really about cheating but when someone does things like that behind your back you consider it cheating. The girl that he was talking to was not his old girlfriend but actually someone new in his life. Regardless of what the song means according to the artist has nothing to do with how a listener perceives it . You might understand where I'm coming from if you were in my shoes.
