| Early career (2006-2007) Hyper Crush began with Fontaine and Moronie. Originally, the name of the band was the Bel-Airs, but the name changed along with their style. They sought a female vocalist to go along with Fontaine, and their long-time friend Valentine took the job. The group first gained widespread exposure through their MySpace page.
