Song lyrics
Baby I’ve been here before
I've seen this room and I’ve walked this floor
I used to live alone before I knew you

I’ve seen your flag on the marble arch
But love is not some victory march
It’s a cold and it’s a broken hallelujah

Hallelujah, hallelujah
Hallelujah, hallelujah

There was a time when you let me know
What’s really going on below
But now you never show that to me, do you?

Remember when I moved in you
And the Holy dove was moving too
And every breath we drew was hallelujah

Hallelujah, hallelujah
Hallelujah, hallelujah

this song and their other song called twenty two fourteen were both put on season finale's of the OC.. each one means a little bit to me and makes me cry just to listen to them. Amazing songs though!

the best cover i've heard of this song yet. nobody still can't make this song as amazing as jeff buckley did. his original version is the only one that gives me chills every time i hear it.

By far the best cover anyone has ever done of this song. Imogen Heap's version is absolutely heart-breaking.

everyone is soo ibsessed with the OC
i saw it once and thought it was stupid
and i cant believe everyone
"discovered" Imogen there
haha i know, if an OC fan reads this
he/she is going to kick my ass
but its just my opinion

oh and of course!
I heart this song
its amazing how she can
make such a beautiful
melody with no instruments,
nothing, but her voice
just as "Hide and Seek"
amazing song too!
she´s someone to really
admire!

it's an absolutely beautiful song & she definitely does it justice.

oh, & in response to a commenter above, Jeff Buckley's version, although my favorite, isn't the original. The original was sung by Leonard Cohen. Just thought i'd clear that up.
