When I heard this song I was amazed and thought it sounded wicked cool! So I had to search it and when I did and listened to the whole thing I fell in love with it and I listen to it all the time! When ever I listen to it I think of the funeral and the death of TREY and it makes me sad! But i am glad the OC and this song will be playing all SUMMER!

4 posts	i said that i like TREY and i do. he only got messed up because of that jessica chick. he was goin to stop what she wanted him to do. i think that he was a great guy, he got messed up before he did to Marrissa. i still like him so there. I like this song too its has such a powerful meaning it rocks!!!!!!!

1,892 posts	This is a great song but somewhat hauting. It's not one of those cheery normal pop-tunes that are just out there and take no second listening to understand. That's what I love about this song. The best bit is the ending. The way the line 'you don't care a bit' is repeated on the back... Awesome.

12 posts	i live in australia and we aint had the last episode of the OC yet, but a mate told me what happens and told me about this song... i fell in love instantly, its so emmotive and pretty and deep... its just super crazy wonderful and i love it... i'm spreading the word on this song so heaps of people will know about it by the time the episode airs

It is only a few times in a lifetime that you come across a song that truly speaks to you, a song that can describe your love, your hate, your happiness, your anger... and for this song in particular, your sadness. I don't know what it is about this song, be it the melody, the lyrics, the voice... and I can see that it has the same effect on so many others. But this song just makes me want to cry with so many emotions. Yes, I'm a guy, but I have emotions too. I know that some people would prefer that I not mention 'The O.C.', but that is where I first heard this song and the shooting of Trey was so sad. And I can't help but think that this song brings that sadness when I watch that scene over and over. Well, actually, no, Trey getting shot brought that sadness, but 'Hide And Seek' added to it. I wish everybody could hear this song; it would not only be a change from all of the hip-hop, and rap etc. (I like rock but still ), but it would probably also make us all appreciate our lives, and difficult situations within our lives that little bit more...
