| Indochine's great adventure began in May 81. Dominique Nicolas, from a good family, as were his future colleagues, had discovered music somewhat late, after having been deeply involved in mechanical sports - i.e. motorcycles. It was on one of his frequent visits to Gibus, the famous Paris nightclub, that he discovered the world of the stage and amateur groups, when the punk era was nearing its end.
