I think this new album is significantly better than her previous albums. While I don't absolutely love all of the songs, a good many of them are exceptionally good. I do like that not all of her songs follow the traditional verse-chorus-verse-chorus-refrain-chorus form. For example, the song "The chain" has not only a lovely melody, but it is unique in the fact that it has a round.

Not only is the music in itself good, but the lyrics have substance. They aren't Fiona Apple obscure, but they actually have some point aside from sex and partying. On that note, it's also refreshing to hear someone singing outside of the dirty-pop, pop rock, and other genres that have become outstandingly and unfortunately popular.

All in all, I'm very pleased by this album and would recommend it to anyone that likes good music
