Actually, the subject of the song is a Pharaoh. The ancient egyptians believed that the pharaoh was a God in human form. By all means, it was the encarnation of the god of the sun.
So, the subject claims its immortality as a right of a god, considering the other gods are immortal beings.
The habit of constructing the pyramids was a ritual that would ressemble the pharao's immortality, as the monuments would last forever.
