AboutJuan Carlos Ramos Vaquero was born on July 17, 1962 in Madrid, Spain. A football fan at the beginning, he turned to music at 17. He has been obliged to change his first name because it was also the name of the King of Spain. Iván's debut album came out in 1979 on CBS Discos Inc. In 1982, he released "Oh Gaby", the Spanish adaptation of Alain Bashung's song & in 1984, his biggest hit has been "Fotonovela". He released the albums Baila the same year & Hey! Mademoiselle! in 1986. After having left CBS, Iván's album Más Dificil came out in 1988 & in 1992, he released the album Vuelta A Casa. In 1994, he left Spain & settled in Australia with his family. In 2001, Iván was back with the album Versos Diversos, on which he sang famous texts by Serrat, Pablo Milanes, Antonio Flores & Victor Manuel. In 2012, he announced his come-back with the album Corazón Encadenado.
Iván spent his time in Madrid, Melbourne, Australia & Miami, FL. He currently lives in Los Angeles, CA, where he owns the company JCK Musik. He has a daughter, Nathália Ramos, born on July 3, 1992 in Madrid & a son, Michael, born in 1994 in Melbourne.
