Jacno - Biography

Jacno (real name Denis Quillard) was born on July 3, 1957 in Paris, France. He got his surname from his fondness for Gauloises cigarettes, which logo was designed by an artist called Jacno. He founded Stinky Toys, one of the first French punk bands & formed an iconic couple of the French new-wave together with Elli Medeiros. Later, he went on to producing jobs for Pauline Lafont, Etienne Daho or Jacques Higelin & released a few solo albums during the 80s and 90s. He died on November 6, 2009.
