 The singer, Michael Jackson's sister, revealed "Make Me", a new song on her official site. Would it be the first single from her next album, scheduled for 2010 ? The American singer hasn't found any label since she left Universal, after the failure of her latest album...
Whereas she's in newspapers, after the death of her brother Michael, Janet Jackson put a new song on her official site... "Make Me", a disco/funk song, sampling Fonzi Thornton's "I Work For A Living" : should it be the first single from her next album, scheduled for 2010 ?
The singer hasn't found any label since she left Universal, after the failure of her latest album Discipline. We can't say that Janet Jackson's come-back has arrived yet ! Only 392,000 copies of Discipline sold in the United States. In France, it was even worse : 5 weeks in French charts, best place was N°43. We're far from her albums The Velvet Rope (N°5 in 1997) & All For You (N°2 in 2001). Following the disappointing sales, Janet Jackson's label, Island Def Jam, announced that it couldn't promote her latest album anymore. To be continued...
