My little girl met a new friend just the other day

this song and the book are so sad
if you have never read " A Child Called IT" I highly recomend it

it's just not that type of song(Pop), it's so much deeper. The last time I heard it(today) though, I looked at it from a different angle - from the Father's position, wondering, how many times people HESITATED, just a little while, but, that "little while" was all it took for some horrible event to actually take place??? What a shame. |

2 posts | Its even more sad when you have to sit back and watch a child.... a brother at that... go though with abuse every night.... over and over again, its like you can have the most wealthy (lots of money) parents in the world and still see the same thing every night......its horrible.
Is that the point of child abuse?... To make you suffer and have fear in you until you dye and decay. Do they do it so they laugh and go out for another victim, to ruin and torture them for their entire childhood?... Just never let it get to you... That's also a way that they send the fear bolting through your body and send the shiver down your spine... And before you know it... Your be just like the victim before you......dead... And besides that! This song is very sad.... although I didn't cry..... I don't ever show much emotion no matter what... oh well!! It was a great song!!  |

441 posts | I cried to, and i believe that in a situation like the one described in the song, the kid might not be ashamed...they might think that they did something to deserve it, but mostly i think that the kid is just to scared of what's going on and that if they tell someone it might only make matters worse. It's sad how many children go through abuse.  |

But I think that there is something to be said about the lyrics. I think that they lyrics show the true inner stuggle of someone who is in an abusive relationship in more ways than one. I know that I have been in an abusive relationship not with anybody in my family but with a boyfriend, and what people dont understand is that you cannot get out, you feel to ashamed, and you think that you deserve it and you dont, you dont want to tell anybody because you are embarassed. It is many things that peole go through and I think that this song really captures the heart of it all. |

WELL,AS A CONSEQUENCE OF BEING BOUNDARYLESS, ALYSSA WAS TRAPPED IN ABUSE WHICH ACTUALLY LED TO AN ODD KIND OF MARTYRDOM. "THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE", BUT,IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE IT, MAYBE YOU CAN TAKE HOPE IN KNOWING THAT THE "EVILDOER" WILL MOST LIKELY FACE HELL(THE RESULT OF THEIR EVIL ACTIONS) A LITTLE BIT SOONER - BEFORE THEY DESTROY ANYONE ELSE'S LIFE. |
