vocal I know!!! They sound so great together. And I love,love,love the lyrics especially when they sang "they don't know how long it takes,waiting for a love like this" This song reminds me of my boyfriend. True,it's different from what Jason Mraz usually sings but it's a great song for relaxing

vocal I'm a guy and, without sounding incredibly gay, I think Jason Mraz is amazing. His "play on words" and lyrical content is really something. He always tries to incorporate something different into all his songs which provides a wide spectrum of sounds for different tastes.
This song in particular makes me think of this one girl: my ex. We're GREAT(!) as just friends but we had a hard first go at the whole relationship thing. We're talking again and things seem very different in a good way -- we both matured a lot and it seems like things will work. I'm kinda hesitant about the whole thing but I'm very much in love with her as she is with me. We're great friends but the relationship part is kinda worrying -- we just don't wanna lose each other.
To make it short, this song reminds me of her because she IS my best friend and I'm very in love with her.

It really makes me think of my husband who is in the national guard doing his 20 weeks of basic and AIT training. Especially the part "Lucky to be coming home again". It always lifts my spirits and makes me cry sometimes just thinking of the length of time hes away. My heart goes out to anyone who has loved ones serving time over seas or even the ones that just left their loved ones to do something bigger and better things for our country. I wish everyone who is in that situation the best of luck. All I can say is this song marks to a T exactly how I feel about my husband. To anyone who is in my situation or a similar one my advice for you is to stay strong and count your sundays. The time will fly. Just keep busy and write every chance you get and make most of the time that is allotted for phone calls. It just really makes you realize that time is precious and like my other favorite songwriter, Mr. Dave Matthews himself says "Make the best of whats around".
