Jay-Z Pushes Up "Blueprint 3" Release, Announces Tour (schedule)
Jay-Z’s “Blueprint 3” was expected to release Friday Sept. 11th, the 8th anniversary of the original “Blueprint” release. Unexpectedly the album was released yesterday due to the leak of “Blueprint 3” a week ago. Despite of the early leak iTunes is upholding the original release date. Jay-Z handled the leak well, by bumping his release date, stating that fans should just enjoy his work of art, no worries.

Jay-Z also announced the start date of his tour—kicking off yesterday with a concert at Chicago’s House of Blues. Then he jets to NYC where he’ll perform, Friday Sept. 11th at Madison Square Garden, where 100 percent of the proceeds from the ticket sales will go directly to the New York Police and Fire Widows’ and Children’s Benefit Fund.

After the Garden Jay-Z heads over the Atlantic for a U.K show with Coldplay on Sept. 12th. The rapper flies back to LA for the MTV VMAs at Radio City Music Hall on Sept. 13th and the premiere of the Jay Leno Show on Sept. 14th.

Jay-Z will be launching his college tour on Oct. 9th at Penn State University. So far 21 shows have been announced. Tour Schedule.
