 Songwriter of Restos Du Coeur anthem, Jean-Jacques Goldman recently talked to "Le Figaro" about Les Enfoirés concert, but also about his musical career...
Jean-Jacques Goldman doesn't appear much in media. His interviews are rather rare & about it, he told "Le Figaro" that he's got "other things interesting for (him). (He) misses time".
Here are some cuts from this interview.
"How much time does it take you to prepare this event ? (NB : Les Enfoirés)
- The first part take places in spring. We sum up the previous show, then we choose the themes before summer. In September, we get to it daily."
"Les Restos concert is a promotional show for artists. Doesn't it stain the caritative side ?
- Since our criteria are based about celebrity, the artists don't need any. They give their celebrity to the show, not the inverse thing. But I admit in some cases, that's not really true. Doesn't matter. We meet people in the street so, we choose those who will give good audience ratings. That's all. I don't know many of them who are cynical."
"Rumours said that you're going to release an album : true or false ?
- No it's false. I'm not getting into music anymore this time..."
"So when are your fans going to see you on stage again ?
- Frankly, I don't know. But not in the years to come."
