 Jean-Louis Aubert was born on April 12, 1955 in Nantua, France. Not interested by studying, he preferred music. At 17, back from a USA trip, he met Richard Kolinka & they recorded the song "Plastic Rocker" in 1976. The same year, he founded the band Téléphone with Richard Kolinka (drums), Corinne Marienneau (bass) & Louis Bertignac (guitar).
