AboutJean-Luc Lahaye (real name Jean-Luc Lahaeye) was born on December 23, 1952 in Paris. He has been placed at the DDASS. Later, he worked as a chauffeur, a bodyguard & a barman. Noticed by Gérard Pedron, Jean-Luc released 3 7" from 1979 to 1981 : "Maîtresse, Maîtresse !", "Allez Viens" & "C'Est Quand L'Entracte ?".
In 1982, his first hit had been "Femme Que J'Aime" & in 1985, "Papa Chanteur", dedicated to his first daughter Margaux, has been N°1 in France & sold 1.2 million copies. In 1986, his autobiography "Cent Familles" came out. The following year, Jean-Luc performed at Paris' Palais des Sports & hosted the TV show "Lahaye D'Honneur" on TF1, which theme song has been "Débarquez-Moi". Success became more confidential after the 7" "Do L'Enfant D'Eau" & the album Paroles D'Hommes.
After he had participated to TF1's TV show "Retour Gagnant", Jean-Luc released his album Gloria (the name of his second daughter), including the single "Sans Vous". He went back on tour in 2004 & 2010.
