Jenifer Dadouche Bartoli was born on November 15, 1982 in Nice, France. She stopped studies after secondary school & while working as an assistant in chemistry, she became interested by music. In 1997, she participated to "Graines De Star" but she didn't win. She moved to Paris & did small jobs. In 2001, she participated to Star Academy first season & on January 12, 2002, she became the winner. Her first self-titled album included "J'Attends L'Amour" & "Au Soleil", it sold 900,000 copies : Jenifer proved she was a real artist.
In 2002, she was in love with singer-songwriter Maxim Nucci & in December 2003, their son Aaron was born. In 2004, Jenifer released her second album Le Passage, another success awarded with 2 NRJ Music Awards, "Female Artist" & "Album". In 2007, her third album Lunatique came out & in 2008, Jenifer went on tour. |
