After "Spotlight", the American singer & actress Jennifer Hudson releases a new single from her album, "If This Isn't Love". But, following the shock caused by her family's murder, widely talked about in the United States, she decided to pause in her career.
In the first week, in the United States, Jennifer Hudson's first self-titled album sold more than 217,000 copies. 6 weeks later, 500,000 copies have been sold everywhere in the world ! A great success for the young woman, born on September 12, 1981 in Chicago, who got known in the real TV "American Idol" third season. Then, her role in the musical film "Dreamgirls" imposed her. She received an Oscar for "Best Supporting Actress" & a Golden Globe for her role as Effie White.
After "Spotlight", "If This Isn't Love", a song written by Theron Thomas, Terry Thomas & Brian Kennedy, is the singer's new single. The song has been remixed by Moto Blanco. Whereas she said she was going to overcome her drama & get back to work, shooting the video for this new single, Jennifer Hudson is still shocked by the loss of her mother, her brother & her nephew, savagely killed, & the N°1 suspect is still her sister's ex-boyfriend... She cancelled the video shooting & decided to pause.

Also, Jennifer Hudson is nominated for the 51st Grammy Awards ceremony, on February 8, 2009 at Los Angeles' Staples Center, in 4 categories like "Best R&B Album" & "Best Song" for "Spotlight".
