One year & a half after his second album Right Where You Want Me, the young American boy, hero of "Summerland", is back in 2008 with a new R&B single, the first from his album released in May.
Named "Leavin'", the first single from Jesse McCartney's new album Departure announced the color : it will be a R&B album. Very trendy today, he left his initial music style (for a long time ?), pop music. Some songs from this album, released in May, might sound like the famous Timbaland !
In September 2004, Jesse McCartney started his musical career with his first album Beautiful Soul, released on Hollywood Records (Disney). The title-song became N°16 in American charts. The album sold 1,5 million copies worldwide. In 2006, Jesse released his second album Right Where You Want Me, on Hollywood Records again. Unfortunately, it wasn't as successful as Beautiful Soul : after a first week N°15 in American charts, the album sold less than 300,000 copies in the States & less than 450,000 copies worldwide. So he changed his music style...
Also, Jesse McCartney co-wrote Leona Lewis's hit "Bleeding Love", N°1 in the UK & released in France soon...
Listen to a short clip of "Leavin'" here.
