Joan Osborne has been revealed in 1996 with her hit "One Of Us". The singer is back with her producers Rick Chertoff, Rob Hyman & Eric Bazilian on her new album Little Wild One, released on Tuesday (September 9), including the single "Sweeter Than The Rest".
The team who worked with Joan Osborne for her beginning has been working again ! Her first album Relish sold 5 million copies worldwide, including the breaking hit "One Of Us" (N°10 in 1996), nominated 6 times at the Grammy Awards.
This new album Little Wild One includes 11 songs, written by Joan Osborne with Chertoff, Bazilian & Hyman. The highlights are "Hallelujah In The City", "Sweeter Than The Rest", "Cathedrals", "Little Wild One" & "Bury Me On The Battery", an ode to Osborne's hometown, New York City.
With a career started 15 years ago, Joan Osborne proved that she was a fascinating artist. In 2002, she showed her talent in the documentary "Standing In The Shadows Of Motown", followed by a tour with the Motown band The Funk Brothers. In 2003, she toured with Dixie Chicks & enchanted her American audience as the singer of the band The Dead. She likes to perform various music styles, but she came back to soul rock on Little Wild One, including the first single "Sweeter Than The Rest".
Listen to a short clip of "Sweeter Than The Rest" here.
Will she succeed again, 12 years after "One Of Us" ?
