John Legend to Release 'Evolver' October 28

 John Legend is one step closer to releasing his third studio album. The soul singer/pianist's upcoming album, dubbed 'Evolver,' will hit stores and online outlets on October 28. The first single, 'Green Light,' featuring Andre 3000, has already hit radio and is making waves as a much more upbeat sound for the soul crooner.
"The album has a balance of uptempo, midtempo and ballad songs," Legend said. " 'Green Light' is the most uptempo, but there's a few other uptempos on the record. There's a couple reggae tunes, a couple of classic John Legend ballads and then a few midtempo songs as well."
Longtime collaborator Kanye West is set to make a guest appearance on 'Evolver,' along with U.K. singer/rapper Estelle, who's signed to Legend's own Homeschool Records. Buy 'Green Light' on iTunes. |
