 Johnny Hallyday revealed his new song. Named "Autoportrait", he performed it on Saturday (December 3) at Paris' Eiffel Tower. It's available on download.
Back to basics, Johnny revealed his new single. "Autoportrait" is a rock song, different from his latest album Jamais Seul. This single is a non-album track. It's a gift for fans, before his next tour that'll start in May 2012. The singer performed on Saturday at Paris' Eiffel Tower. A way to announce the singer's tour in such a monument... At the first storey, he had sung his songs, the concert will be aired on TMC for Christmas. During this show, he performed "Autoportrait", composed by John Mamann (Louisy Joseph). It's a pure Johnny song. The star comes back to simple rock. In this song, he talks about him & Laeticia, his wife. Listen to "Autoportrait" here. Here's the chorus : "On m'a fait tant d'autoportraits". "J'avoue que je ne sais plus vraiment qui je suis, ni à quel moment. Et ce qui est vrai, je le jure, c'est que je ne serai plus personne si un jour, toi, tu m'abandonnes". An allusion to his wife Laeticia Hallyday. The rock song added backing vocals, giving a pop side. Update (December 6) : Nicole Coullier, the wife of Johnny's producer, announced on Twitter that "Autoportrait" has been downloaded 50,000 times during the first day.
