"Tour 66 - M'Arrêter Là" is Johnny Hallyday's last tour, that should be over in January 2010. However, the singer, who'll perform a free concert on July 14 at Paris' Tour Eiffel, with Christophe Maé as his supporting act, announced new dates : February 9 & 10, 2010 at Paris' Bercy !
Johnny Hallyday announced that his "Tour 66 - M'Arrêter Là" was his last. The singer would like to see 1 million spectators during his concerts. "We'll do a winter tour until January 2010" Jean-Claude Camus, producer of Johnny Hallyday's shows, said.
Following the buzz after the idol's goodbye, new dates have been added on February 9 & 10 at Paris' Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy ! The star will also perform on July 14 at Paris' Tour Eiffel, with Christophe Maé as his supporting act. At 66, the singer is far from being retired... "With this tour, I'm going to spend some years off before going back on stage. I like to sing but I'm tired of sleeping in a different hotel every night, I'm tired of this life" he said to "Le Parisien".
Also, his new album Ca Ne Finira Jamais (N°1 in 2008) is still available & the new single is "Ca Peut Changer Le Monde".

Johnny is the N°1 star of French rock, a modern hero of extravagance, challenge & hathred too. From the lonely child to the half-god who went down the sky to sing "Allumer Le Feu", singing about the writer Elsa Triolet (Aragon's wife), whereas Lucien Morisse from Europe 1 broke the young man's 7", there were a novel, a legend, an odyssey starting. A total fan of Elvis Presley, fed with the rock evenings at the Golf Drouot, before going on all kinds of fashion, he has performed crazy concerts & worked with big names, from his friends Michel Mallory & Long Chris to Philippe Labro, Etienne Roda-Gil, Michel Berger, Jean-Jacques Goldman, Art Mengo, Patrick Bruel, Pascal Obispo, Miossec, Zazie, Gérald De Palmas, Maxime Le Forestier, Catherine Lara, David (his son)... Even Françoise Sagan. In 1989, he participated to Les Enfoirés' tour (for the Restos Du Coeur, created by Coluche) with Goldman, Michel Sardou, Véronique Sanson & his old friend Eddy Mitchell. As an actor, he played for Jean-Luc Godard & 19 years later, in 2003, he received the Jean Gabin prize. A recordman (75 albums, 55 of them recorded in studio, 1100 songs, 100 million albums sold...), Johnny, who was 60 in 2003, has also caused a stir with his weddings (Sylvie Vartan, Adeline & Laëticia), car accidents, suicide attempts & problems with tax evasion... In 2004, the year was rather "Noir C'Est Noir" than "Toute La Musique Que J'Aime" for 1963's "L'Idole Des Jeunes", because he split his historic team, leaving Universal. 2007 was a turning for the star : his album Le Coeur D'Un Homme, released on Warner, showed a bluesy Johnny. Now that he's saying goodbye, he sings the songs he's been loving.
