last update : 13-08-2012 16:22
Jonatan Cerrada Moreno was born on September 12, 1985 in Liège, Belgium. His parents Victoria & Valentin are from Spanish origin & he has 2 brothers, Julien & Rafael, & 2 sisters, Audrey & Raquel. At 8, he joined the choir of Wallonie's Opéra Royal. He started composing at 10 then turned to jazz & variety. He left opera at 14 & went to many castings. At 17, he was in the Belgian TV show "Pour La Gloire" : he lost in semifinal but continued to tour, alone or with groups. He studied piano, dance & singing at the Academy Glétry, continuing castings & recording radio commercials.

In 2003, Jonatan passed the casting of the French TV show Nouvelle Star. He became the winner in July 2003 & released his first album Siempre in September, becoming a talent. In May 2004, Jonatan participated to Eurovision Song Contest with "À Chaque Pas". Still a songwriter & lovely-voiced singer, he released his second album La Preuve Du Contraire in June 2005. In 2007, Jonatan played Arthur Rimbaud in a musical & in 2008, he played in the musical "Je M'Voyais Déjà".

He is no longer signed by the major record label that released his first two French albums. Instead, he started working on a Spanish album as independently. In May 2007, he created a new MySpace site Tercero, showcasing songs, all sung in Spanish, with a distinct Latin and R&B style.
