40 years of career at Paris' Casino

Julien Clerc is performing at Paris' Casino until January 18, to celebrate his 40 years of career. A nice come-back for the seducing 61-year-old man whose new album, Où S'En Vont Les Avions ?, produced by Benjamin Biolay, got a nice success.

Julien Clerc released his new album Où S'En Vont Les Avions ? in autumn 2008, produced by Benjamin Biolay. Carla Bruni, Gérard Manset, Gérard Duguet-Grasser, David McNeil, Jean-Loup Dabadie & Maxime Le Forestier wrote lyrics.

"La Jupe En Laine", "Sous Sa Grande Ombrelle", the magnificent "Déranger Les Pierres"... So many songs for the singer who started in the 70's musical "Hair". "La Cavalerie", "La Californie", "This Melody", "Partir", "Ma Préférence", "Femmes Je Vous Aime", "Lili Voulait Aller Danser", "Coeur De Rocker", "Mélissa", "L'Enfant Au Walkman", "Hélène", "Fais-Moi Une Place", "Utile" & "Si J'Etais Elle"... So many songs now written in French culture. "The old age is a wreckage. I must concentrate" he said after the latest Téléthon. "I started to talk to my audience when I asked myself questions about my voice. I worked with a teacher who helped me to sing like I did at my beginnings. Today, I don't have to practice & I sing as I used to."
