Song lyrics
Out on the wiley, windy moors
We'd roll and fall in green
You had a temper, like my jealousy
Too hot, too greedy
How could you leave me
When I needed to possess you
I hated you, I loved you too

Bad dreams in the night
You told me I was going to lose the fight
Leave behind my wuthering, wuthering
Wuthering Heights

Heathcliff, it's me, your Cathy, I've come home
I'm so cold, let me in-a-your window
Heathcliff, it's me, Cathy, I've come home
I'm so cold let me in-a-your window

Ooh it gets dark, it gets lonely
On the other side from you
I pine a lot, I find the lot
Falls through without you
I'm coming back love, cruel Heathcliff
My one dream, my only master

Too long I roam in the night
I'm coming back to his side to put it right
I'm coming home to wuthering, wuthering
Wuthering Heights

Heathcliff, it's me, your Cathy, I've come home
I'm so cold, let me in-a-your window
Heathcliff, it's me, your Cathy, I've come home
I'm so cold, let me in-a-your window

Ooh let me have it, let me grab your soul away
Ooh let me have it, let me grab your soul away
You know it's me, Cathy.

Heathcliff, it's me, your Cathy, I've come home
I'm so cold, let me in-a-your window
Heathcliff, it's me, your Cathy, I've come home
I'm so cold, let me in-a-your window
Heathcliff, it's me, your Cathy, I've come home
I'm so cold

Heathcliff, it's me Cathy, I've come home
I'm so cold...

I read the book a while ago, it scared me and made me really sad but at the same time i could hardly get away from it. the lack of details in feelings and relationships were frustating to me, i wanted to know more! really mysterious, i'm amazed that for once the main characters are no angels.
i didn't quite understand the book while i read it, but then i heard this song and the lyrics, it really made me understand and like the book a lot more.
Kate's vocals are wonderful!!

I actually never liked this song very much UNTIL I read Wuthering Heights. Now that I actually know the amazing story behind the words, it's just such a powerful song. Absolutely love it now.

This is such an amazing song. Almost as brilliant as the book...and it captures Cathy's emotions perfectly. An ethereal piece of music.

I adore the book !
It makes me cry every time..

This song descibes the book pretty well. Although you must've read it to really understand it I think...

If you haven't read the book yet, do it NOW!

Wuthering Heights is a VERY old story, first came out as a novel by Emily Brontë which was her only novel because the poor lady died one year later of tuberculosis... Then there was a movie which I believe still is in black & white, and then there was Kate's beautiful song! Cathy's a reall b*tch in the book I like her ! And Heathcliff is a greedy jealous man, He feels embarressed about being rejected by Catherine because she maried Linton and said that to mary Heathcliff would be an embarresment altough she loves him. So Heathcliff locks Cathy up in the basement hasting her dead... And in the end she calls out for Heathcliff for reuniting their souls forever to be together... Infact some might say she never really loved her husband Linton...
